Petar Bozhilov

Petar, originally from Bulgaria, is a recent graduate and accomplished NCAA Division I swimmer from Southern Methodist University, renowned for his international achievements and coaching expertise.

In 2017, he ranked 13th globally in the 1500m freestyle and holds multiple all-time top performer records at SMU. Fueled by a lifelong passion for swimming, Petar is now fully committed to coaching full-time, bringing with him years of hands-on experience and a deep love for the sport. 

Throughout his career, he has earned over 600 medals from national and international championships and set more than 60 national records for Bulgaria. Since the beginning of 2025, Petar has been training full-time for triathlons and is currently ranked as the second-best triathlete in Bulgaria, after Coach Alex.
